Nutrition and Food Science

Food science deals with the general properties of food like (physical and chemical properties). It also deals with the changes which takes place due to package, storage of the food. Where as nutrition describes the interaction of nutrients and other food substances. It also includes food intake, absorption, integration, metabolism, catabolism and excretion. So both nutrition and food science together will develop a well-organized track to maintain a healthy life.
