Nutritional Immunology & Food Allergies

The growth of IgE mediated allergic diseases is mainly influenced by many elements, including environmental and genetic factors for example farming and pollution, but nutrition is also responsible for food allergies. These allergies affect immune system to react unusually when exposed to one or more specific foods such as nuts, eggs, wheat and milk. Breastfeeding, vitamins, minerals, fibre, fruits, vegetables, cow’s milk, n-3 fatty acids, pre-, pro- and symbiotic also causes effects which leads to allergies. The diet of pregnant and breastfeeding women, influences intrauterine development, as well as breast milk composition.
